SALARIED GP CONTRACT
4-6 SESSIONS PER WEEK
An exciting opportunity to join our
clinical team, working across two sites, in our 7-doctor practice comprising 5 Partners, 2 salaried GPs and 3 ACPs, based in rural Shropshire, just south of Shrewsbury.
We are looking for
an enthusiastic, professional, hardworking, team player, for 4-6 sessions per
week. Salary negotiable dependant on experience, will include payment for study leave (1.11 sessions paid per session worked).
We are a Tier 2 sponsoring organisation and a training practice.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a dynamic, professional and friendly GP to join our practice team to continue to deliver the high standard of clinical care we currently provide.
The post holder must be dedicated, responsible, and driven to contribute to the innovative and forward thinking practice direction, and be a key team player.
They must have an awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines, e.g. safeguarding, prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety etc.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential.
Contract:
4-6 sessions per week
Mix of routine work, some on-call, working across two sites
15 minutes appointments
Monday to Friday
Some evening and weekend may be required occasionally
Flexibility around start and end times essential
Permanent position
Salary: dependent on experience c.£8.5k-£10.5k

Pontesbury & Worthen Medical Practice is a developing and growing practice with two sites, situated in the rural villages of Pontesbury and Worthen, just south of Shrewsbury providing medical care for approximately 10500 patients. We are a forward thinking team, keen to adopt and progress innovative ideas and solutions whilst providing excellent clinical care. We are a Dispensing practice. We are a training practice.

& Worthen Medical Practice in providing all services outlined in the GMS
Core Contract and also in the aims and objectives of the Practice
The post holder is expected to support and input into the aims
of the practice in areas of clinical governance, good practice, quality
outcomes framework, enhanced services, practice audit, referral review and any
other improvement plans as determined by the practice.
The post holder is encouraged to utilise and develop any
additional skills for the improvement of services to patients.
The post holder is expected to maintain and keep good standards
of computerised clinical records at all times. Full involvement in any practice
training and ongoing requirements of our status as a paperless practice is
expected.

standards of timekeeping and paperwork.
