Job summary
Mill view Surgery is a busy, GP surgery in Rocester, Uttoxeter, We are looking for an energetic, dedicated and caring Health Care Assistant to join our friendly nursing team. The successful candidate will be patient focused who has a desire to make a difference to the lives of our patients.
The HCA will be working under the direct supervision of our Nurse Lead and strictly in accordance with practice guidelines and protocols.
Ideally you will have had experience of working in Primary Care however full training will be given to the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
New patients Health Checks
Phlebotomy
ECGs
B12 injections
Flu Injections
Clear and restock clinical consulting rooms
Ensure vaccines and cold chain storage monitoring and recording is carried out as per policies and protocols.
Help to raise awareness of health and well being and how it can be promoted.
