Description:
As a Practice Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of
primary care services within our practice. You will work closely with GPs,
healthcare assistants, and administrative staff to provide holistic and
patient-centred care.

Main duties of the job
Your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Long term conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, hypertension) and preventative health care
- Immunisations and vaccinations, including childhood and travel vaccinations
- Cervical cytology screening
- Health promotion and education
- Wound care, dressings, and minor injuries
- Family planning and sexual health services
- Support in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Assisting with minor procedures and phlebotomy

autonomous practitioner the nurse is responsible for the care delivered,
demonstrating critical thinking and skills in clinical decision-making in the
management of patients. They will work collaboratively with the general

- Knowledge of SystmOne or similar clinical software
