Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Practice Nurse to join our friendly team. We are a well organised practice in Rastrick, Brighouse, who strive to consistently provide high quality care to all our patients. Our growing list size currently stands at over 5000 patients. We offer excellent appointment access without telephone triage and our patient feedback is consistently positive.
The practice is a member of Calderdale ICB, Pennine GP Alliance, and the Lower Valley Primary Care Network.
The hours are 24 hrs p/w - Days / times to be agreed with the successful applicant.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be expected to provide a high standard of care in the following areas (but not limited to): Chronic disease management (Asthma, COPD, Diabetes), Child Imms, Travel vaccinations, Smears, Contraception, BP checks, ECG's, Phlebotomy, summarising, qof.
About us
Th practice team consists of 1 GP principal, 3 salaried GPs, 1 HCA and an efficient reception / administration team. The Practice is lead by 2 part time Practice Managers.
Longroyde Surgery is a SystmOne Practice and also uses PATCHs to communicate with patients. We are a small, supportive team who all share the same vision regarding patient care and this is often reflected in patient feedback.
