Job summary
Part Time GP Medical Receptionist required for the following shifts:
- Monday 8:30am to 1pm and 2pm to 6:30pm
- Tuesday 8am to 1pm and 2pm to 6:30pm
Total of 18.5 hours per week. Shifts are non-negiotable.
Main duties of the job
- Deal with patient enquiries, on the phone, via email, on the clinical system and face to face - making appointments as necessary.
- Carry out requests for repeat prescriptions.
- Complete the appropriate paperwork for all new patient registrations ensuring that all information is clear and accurate to prevent delays in registering.
- Action email requests and post on the clinical system.
- Provide cover and support during holiday periods and abscences.
- Follow the procedures for opening and closing the surgery.
- To strictly adhere to the Cheylesmore Surgery policies and protocols.
- To undertake any other tasks/duties as determined by the Clinicals or Management Team in accordance with this grade of post.
- Assist with tasks such as assigning electronic results to GP's, monitoring them and actioning any requests made by the GP's within appropriate timescales.

Cheylesmore Surgery are a 2 Partner GP Training Practice, with salaried GP's, Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescriber, ANP, Nurse.
We are an EMIS Web Practice and also use DOCMAN and AccuRx.
Sited in Modern Health Centre building with car parking available including disabled spaces.
