Job summary

We are looking for a full-timeexperiencedHealth Care Assistant, specialising in Elderly Care and Support Worker

We are seeking someone who is positive, enthusiastic and experienced with good team working skills and flexibility.

We are looking for someone with minimum 7 years experience in elderly care.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and displaying excellent interpersonal and customer service skills under pressure.

Must be IT literate, able to work with and embrace new Technology

Abide by confidentiality Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Policies

Must be personable, polite and approachable

Must be a team player

Must be adaptable to change

Must be aware of their own professional boundaries and highlight any concerns or areas of required development.

About us

We are a friendly, well-established practice in East London looking for an experience HCA specialising in elderly care.

The standard clinic is 15 slots per session, with a mix of face to face and telephone calls, including time for admin work.

Very low home visits required

On site parking and excellent transport links

Ordering of medical supplies

Stock take of medical supplies

Health care promotions Asthma checks

Diabetic checks

Clinical skills health and well-being

  • Undertake, record and follow guidelines for the tasks for which you have received appropriate training:
  • Completing full NHSHC assessments once trained appropriately and under supervision of PN / GPs
  • support the clinicians with completing LCC templates/NHSHC templates and completing care plans for those under clinician supervision
  • Urinalysis and preparation of specimens for investigation by the pathology laboratory
  • Measuring and recording following physiological measurements in routine presentations:* Once trained to do so.
