Job summary

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and compassionate GP to join our dynamic PCN.This role offers the opportunity to work with forward-thinking practices with friendly teams and strong support network.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of primary care services, including acute consultations, chronic disease management, home visits (usually 0-1 per day/week), and reviewing and actioning results.

About us

We are a diverse team of salaried GP's HWBC's, Paramedics, Pharmacists and FCPs all working together to provide excellent patient care. There is a wide and diverse range of practices incorporating a University population and a homeless / asylum seeking population.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Inclusion on the GP Register and NHS Performers List.
  • The applicant must be within two years of completing their GP VTS training (post CCST).
  • Ability to provide medical care to students, asylum seekers and homeless patients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and work within 8 practices throughout the Network

Desirable

  • Willingness to contribute to the development and growth of the PCN.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work during busy holiday seasons and also work some extended access hours.

Experience

Essential

  • The applicant must be within two years of completing their GP VTS training (post CCST).

Desirable

  • Experience with working with atypical patient populations
