and experienced GP Receptionist to join our dedicated administrative team.
Main duties of the job
Part-time position 14:30-18:30 Monday-Thursday and 09:00-18:30 Friday
Experience working in a GP practice is essential

Fountayne Road Medical Practice is located in Stoke Newington. We are seeking an enthusiastic and
dedicated part-time receptionist to join our team. We are a large practice serving
approximately 9,500 registered patients.
We are committed to delivering outstanding healthcare
services, utilizing the Emis Web clinical system, and fostering a supportive

Job responsibilities
To deal with ALL enquiries with complete confidentiality.
Answer incoming telephone calls, deal with general enquiries
and transfer or document messages and forward to appropriate member of team.
Process emails, Emis tasks and e-requests received from
colleagues and patients.
Book appointments, telephone consultations and requests for
home visits.
Code and process electronic documents received from hospital
and other healthcare agencies.
Process incoming and outgoing mail.
Receive and record requests for repeat prescriptions.
To be able to sign post using local resources and provide
information to patients.
Register new and temporary patients.
Process referrals to secondary care and external agencies
using the electronic referral system (ERS).
Invite patients with long term conditions for annual
reviews.
Complete general clerical duties i.e. Scanning opening and locking main entrance door. To have a thorough knowledge of all Practice
procedures.
To work in accordance of written protocols.
