Working Pattern: 2 vacancies available
1 x Monday & Wednesday 8AM-6:20PM
1 x Thursday 7:40AM-4PM & Friday 8AM-4:20PM
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Salaried GP to join our progressive team at Carrfield Medical Centre. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care to patients, in accordance with the GMS contract
Prescribe safely and appropriately, in line with local/national guidelines
Manage long-term conditions effectively
Undertake shared practice duties including duty doctor cover
Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks (e.g. referrals, results, prescriptions)
Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
Participate in audits, quality improvement, and clinical governance activities
Attend practice meetings and contribute to team development
Support the training of students and junior clinicians
Engage with appraisals and the revalidation process
Uphold all practice policies including confidentiality, data protection, and safeguarding
Person Specification
Essential:
Medical degree (e.g. MBBS or equivalent)
Full GMC registration with a license to practise
Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice
NHS GP Performers List registration
Current enhanced DBS check
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient-focused and team-orientated approach
Commitment to continuous professional development
Desirable:
Interest in clinical leadership, quality improvement, or education
Proficiency with digital tools and innovation in healthcare delivery
