Job summary
A position has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to undertake the role of Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Applicants should be NMC Registered with Independent Prescribing. They should have a recognised Nurse Practitioner qualification working at degree level.
We are a well established and highly regarded GP Training Practice based in Eccles. We have 8 GP Partners, 4 Salaried GPs and a large Practice Nursing Team.
We have won awards for both our Practice Management and our Quality Improvement and Innovation over the last 12 months.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will hold a clinical MSc and within their professional boundaries, will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring and providing the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. The majority of the time will be spent working in a traditional primary care setting with increasing opportunities for regular work in city-wide services, for example acute home visiting services. There will also be opportunities to leading the development of innovation bids, a new service or mode of service delivery, projects, quality-improvement opportunities, mobilization or integration of services.
