A position has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to undertake the role of Practice Nurse to join our outstanding Nursing team. Applicants should be NMC Registered with General Practice experience
We are a well established and highly regarded GP Training Practice based in Eccles. We have 7 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GPs and a large Practice Nursing Team.
We have won awards for both our Practice Management and our Quality Improvement and Innovation.
Main duties of the job
General Practice Nursing is varied and rewarding. You will be involved in delivering care to our practice population across several clinical areas. This will include cervical cytology, immunisations, and chronic disease management, including Diabetes, Asthma and COPD. As a registered nurse you will also be involved in the mentorship and supervision of students and career start nurses as well as our trainee nursing associates. We place a high value on team working and you will be supported by your nurse colleagues and GPs as well as the wider practice team including pharmacists and social prescribing link workers.
