Job summary

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Phlebotomists to assist the team. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting patient care by performing blood draws, handling specimens, and ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.

This role is for 25-30 hours per week and may work across our 4 sites.

Main duties of the job

  • Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to collect blood samples.
  • Ensure proper identification and labeling of specimens.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent patient care, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort during procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

About us

Magna Group Practice operates over 4 sites within the Rotherham area. The organisation consists of 4 GP Partners, 8 Salaried GP's, a Nursing team, Health Care Assistants. All are supported by Care Navigators and an administration team. We have around 15,000 patients over 4 Sites.
