Job summary

Dingle Park Practice have a vacancy for a full time receptionist. Our reception roles are varied and interesting, all applicants should be self motivated and dedicated to proving excellent customer service. The successful candidate would be someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment who can provide compassion and support to our patients. Dingle Park Practice is a busy surgery located in L8 (south Liverpool) consisting of 4 GP partners, 2 Drs. 2 Physican Associates, a nursing team, phlebotomist, HCA, Pharmacist & Social Prescriber.

Job responsibilities

Handling all appointment requests from patients by telephone or face to face

Processing repeat prescription request in accordance with practice guidelines

Dealing with enquiries, making new and follow-up appointments and generally advising patients on non clinical matters

Completing tasks

Communicating with Pharmacies and other outside agencies

Liaising with Drs/nurses were necessary

Sorting and distributing incoming mail

Receiving samples, logging and ensuring the correct forms accompany them to the Laboratory

Receiving and recording telephone messages for the Dr/Nurse/Managers

Registration of new patients
