Job summary
Issa Medical is seeking an experienced and motivated General
Practitioner who is fully trained and competent in performing vasectomy
procedures to join our friendly, forward-thinking clinical team. This role
offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a community vasectomy service
while providing high-quality primary care to patients.
The successful candidate will work alongside a team and will
play a key role in expanding patient access to safe, effective, and
compassionate reproductive health services.

- Perform vasectomy consultations and procedures.
- Carry out minimally invasive vasectomy procedures (or other recognised techniques) in line with NHS clinical governance standards.
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred care
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation using the practices clinical systems.
- Contribute to quality improvement activities, clinical audits, and service development.

Issa Medical Organisation is a large GP surgery split accross two sites delivering primary care services to over 36,000 patients in Preston.
We are a committed team consisting of GPs, Advanced nurse practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedic Practitioners, Physician Associates, nurses, and admin members. We pride ourselves on our team spirit and camaraderie, whilst working under immense pressure we deliver care of a high standard.

- Trained and accredited in vasectomy procedures, with demonstrable competence
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centred approach.
- Commitment to clinical governance, safety, and high-quality care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An up-to-date enhanced DBS check
Desirable
- Experience delivering community-based vasectomy services.
- Interest in mens health, sexual and reproductive health, or minor surgery.
- Willingness to participate in service expansion or training initiatives.
