Main duties of the job

As a Clinincal Coding and Data Quality Administrator, you will make up part of the wider Administration Team at Priory Medical Group.

Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coding hospital letters and results for PMG and external clients, and ensuring these are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Processing electronic lab results, ensuring these are processed efficiently, accurately and in line with individual and team KPIs.
  • Following Processes and Procedures accurately and efficiently, when processing both Open Exeter Data and SCR data.

Our administrators demonstrate excelent customer service as they work closely with collesagues, external teams and patients.

Job description

Job responsibilities

The main duties of a Patient Records Administrator include, but are not limited to:

1. Coding hospital letters and results for PMG and external clients: Ensuring these are processed efficiently, accurately and in line with individual and team KPIs, in doing so, supporting the clinical team / our external clients, and contributing to delivering the Best Clinical Care for our patients.

2. Processing electronic lab results: Ensuring these are processed efficiently, accurately and in line with individual and team KPIs, in doing so, supporting the clinical team, and contributing to delivering the Best Clinical Care for our patients.

3. Daily task rota / Daily search rota / Monthly searches: Ensuring these are processed and run accurately, effectively and in line with individual and team KPIs.

4. Dealing with telephone and face to face queries: Provide excellent customer service by dealing with queries and/or requests independently, appropriately and efficiently.

5. Following Processes and Procedures accurately and efficiently.Processing Open Exeter Data, ensuring this is done accurately and efficiently, whilst contributing to our practice goals delivering the best customer service to our external customers. Also processing SCR data, ensuring these are processed and run accurately, effectively and within allocated timeframe.

6. Efficiently and accurately retrieving information via our systems or printouts and notes for medical staff from within the surgery.

7. Efficiently and accurately obtain information as required by the doctor from other organisations, such as local hospitals.

8. Processing SCR data: Ensuring these are processed accurately, efficiently and within allocated timeframe.

9. To ensure any CQC requirements and/or documentation for which the post holder is responsible for is completed timely and accurately. To also ensure any procedures and processes applicable to the role are followed timely and accurately.
