Any knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial but not essential as full training will be given

Job responsibilities

Main Duties

1. Processing referral Letters for PMG and external clients: Ensuring these are processed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner, in doing so, supporting the clinical team and contributing to delivering the Best Clinical Care for our patients

2. Completing various reports and forms: Ensuring these are processed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner

3. Dealing with telephone and face to face queries: Provide excellent customer service by dealing with queries and/or requests independently, appropriately and efficiently

4. Efficiently and accurately obtain information: as required by our clinicians from our systems, records and/or from external organisations, such as local hospitals.

5. Processing E-Referrals & RSS rejections: Ensuring these are processed efficiently, accurately and in an timely manner, in doing so, supporting the clinical team and contributing to delivering the Best Clinical Care for our patients.

6. Processing Insurance and Solicitors reports: Ensuring these are processed accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner whilist contributing to our practice goal delivering the best customer service to our external customers.

7. To ensure any CQC requirements and/or documentation for which the post holder is responsible for is completed timely and accurately. To also ensure any procedures and processes applicable to the role are followed timely and accurately.

8. To ensure you devote the whole of your time, attention and abilities to your role, our business and its goals

9. Such other duties as may reasonably be delegated from time to time
