Job summary

  • Providing basic administration support to our executive managing partners and in particular our nurse management team

Data inputting

Stock; populating and keeping up to date an area of our electronic system for stock levels of consumables

Note taking; note and minute taking when required

Filing

Incoming mail; ensure this reaches the correct person

Outgoing mail; to complete mail merges and send basic correspondence

Printing, scanning and photocopying

Manage and keep up to date a meetings diary for ops team managers i.e. inviting and co-ordinating attendance confirmations

Create meetings for the nurse management team; arranging of a variety of meetings and team meetings in the nurse team i.e. inviting and co-ordinating attendance confirmations and diarise reoccurring tasks

A variety of other activities that could be deemed as basic administration

Main duties of the job

Good written and oral communication skills

Proven, speedy and efficient and accurate keyboard skills. Competent in the use of PC software including Microsoft Outlook and Word. Full training will be given for in-house systems

Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality policies

Proven ability and enjoyment of data inputting in a fast paced environment, where the quality of the data you input is not checked by a colleague and must be accurate.

Absolute discretion with regards to patients and colleagues

Proven background of skilfully managing / juggling different deadlines, tasks and priorities from different people (members of the management team) at the same time

Proven history of learning and adhering to policies and processes

The ability to work in a fast paced environment with an attention to detail
