PCN Paramedic

Would you like to work on the edge of the beautiful Peak District National Park, yet within easy reach of the cultural hub of Manchester?

Glossop Primary Care Network (PCN) are looking to recruit two further full time Paramedics to provide a high quality service to our patients.

The post is initially for a period of one year with a view to extending depending on funding.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the role include seeing patients at practice sites and visiting patients in their place of residence who present with a wide range of minor illness, urgent and same day requests for treatment and chronic disease management. Training opportunities around minor injuries and prescribing will be offered.

The hours of work will be between 8 am and 6.30 pm 5 days per week.

Glossop PCN consists of 5 practices in Glossop and Hadfield. We cover a population size of 32,000 patients. We have a very cohesive working relationship with our 6 practices.
