Main duties of the job

You will be part of the GP team (8 doctors) and undertake a variety of duties including telephone and face to face consultations. You will undertake routine clinical sessions and support the Duty doctor rota for dealing with more urgent on the day consultations. Routine sessions will include relevant referrals, results & other admin, supported by our admin team. Visiting is mainly undertaken by the paramedic ACP team, but GPs are involved in visiting palliative and EOL patients from time to time.

You will use the EMIS clinical system for accessing records and adding contemporaneous notes, training can be given where you have not used this system previously, or need a refresher.
