GP Opportunity 4 Sessions per Week (with long-term potential)

Barrington Medical Centre is seeking a motivated and dedicated GP to join our friendly multidisciplinary team under the NHS Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS).
This post is offered at 4 sessions per week for an initial 6-month period, with the strong possibility of continuing beyond March 2026, subject to ongoing ARRS funding.
From April 2026, the role is expected to continue at 1 - 2 sessions per week on a permanent basis - The salary will be adjusted proportionately if the number of sessions reduces from April 2026. The post offers stability while giving you the flexibility to build your portfolio, develop specialist interests or combine the role with other commitments.

Main duties of the job
You will have excellent clinical and communication skills and must hold MRCGP. You will deliver high-quality patient care and undertake duties in line with the agreed practice timetable, including:

Home visits where required

Checking and signing repeat prescriptions

Managing tasks, paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner
You will be responsible for:

Assessing patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems

Developing care plans in line with practice protocols

Providing counselling, advice and health education
