This role provides essential administrative support to the Business Manager and Practice Manager, helping ensure the smooth running of the practice and excellent patient care.
Main duties of the job
Provide day-to-day administrative support including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining records.Manage staff rotas and assist with staff appraisals administration.Handle correspondence, maintain filing systems, and update databases.Support recruitment processes and onboarding of new staff.Assist with ordering supplies and managing invoices.Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Previous administrative experience (healthcare experience desirable but not essential).
