Job summary
The
post holder will support Lancaster Medical Practice in the Medication
Optimisation work, including MHRA audits, cost saving and patient safety. The
post holder will also support the Medicine Management Administrators (formerly
Medicine Coordinators) to ensure prescriptions are issued in a timely manner,
and queries are resolved. The post
holder will also coordinate and support the technicians with repeat dispensing
and processing simple docman queries.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include coordinating all audits and cost savings, ensuring
Lancaster Medical Practice is following the correct prescribing habits, in line
with the ICB, ensure the repeat dispensing protocols are followed, and process
simple docman. The tasks and responsibilities to be undertaken may include any
or all the items below, dependent on current and evolving practice workload and
staffing levels

delivering General Medical Services to around 68,000 patients in Lancaster and
surrounding villages. Formed in April 2017 from our successful, legacy
