About us
We pride ourselves on our commitment to care for our patients in an old-fashioned way from cradle to grave with excellent continuity of care which is so often lost in these new models of Primary Care.
Dunster and Porlock Surgeries are two highly rated and welcoming practices, serving vibrant communities. Dunster Surgery is a rural, family medical practice with spacious, bespoke premises overlooking the village cricket pitch. Porlock Medical Centre has views onto the moors and across the sea to Wales yet is located right on the edge of the village.
Both practices CQC rated in 2018 as Outstanding. Ranked in 2024 as one of the top 100 Practices in the country with 94% of patients rating their experience as good or better.
We are a happy, friendly team who support each other to achieve our mission of providing Gold standard care. We actively encourage personal and professional development and consider ourselves innovative and forward thinking whilst retaining the ethos of a family practice. This is real medicine in a rural setting. We are in the enviable position to be able to offer the role to the right person.
