Job summary

Castle Partnership is seeking a qualified and experienced Nurse Practitioner who specialises in and is enthusiastic about female health, with a focus on menopause management, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and long-acting reversible contraception (LARC). The ideal candidate will have expertise in providing compassionate, evidence-based care to women throughout different stages of life, with an emphasis on supporting those undergoing menopause or seeking contraceptive advice and treatments. This is a flexible 0-hour position, offering you the autonomy to manage your schedule while contributing to high-quality patient care.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide comprehensive healthcare services to female patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions related to menopause, HRT, and LARC.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, lifestyle factors, and symptoms to develop tailored care plans.
  • Educate and counsel patients on menopause, hormonal changes, and options for HRT, ensuring informed decisions about their health and treatment plans.
  • Administer and monitor HRT treatments, ensuring ongoing management and review of patients' progress.
  • Provide LARC services, including consultations, fittings, and follow-up care, ensuring best practices in contraception management.
  • Offer advice and support on other female health issues such as menstrual irregularities, sexual health, and general well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, specialists, and the wider nursing team, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to clinical governance and regulatory standards.
  • Stay informed on current developments and research in female health, menopause, HRT, and contraception, ensuring the latest evidence-based practices are used in patient care.
