Phlebotomist

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time phlebotomist to join our Nursing team. We are looking to appoint a Phlebotomist who is clinically skilled with general blood taking. Working between 20-28 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

The key elements of this role include:

• Taking, collecting and storing samples of blood in accordance with training and procedures.

You will have undertaken phlebotomy training and have recent experience in blood taking. You will be a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, a positive attitude and commitment to General Practice and the NHS.

About us

You will join a clinical team consisting of 5 GP Partners, 1 salaried GP, 2 Paramedic Practitioners, 2 Paramedic, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 4 Practice Nurses, 1 Assistant Practitioner and 1 HCA plus a broad range of established allied healthcare professionals including a Pharmacy team, First Contact Practitioners , Social Prescribers, Care Coordinators and a Health and Wellbeing Coach

We are part of the local GP federation and our PCN continue to provide Covid-19 Vaccination for our local area.
