Job summary
We are looking for a permanent part time Medical
Receptionist to join our team based at The Robert Darbishire Practice, the
largest and busiest of the three GP practices in the Better Health MCR Primary
Care Network. The post is 22.5 hours per week; Monday 08:00 16:30, Tuesday
08:00 16:30 and Saturday 08:45 17:15.
The postholder will be required to work flexibly and
to provide cover for absence and busy periods.
As part of this, they may be required to work Saturdays. There may also be a requirement for the
postholder to work at our other practices from time to time.
Salary
will be within the range £24,168 £26,177 (pro rata for part time) depending
on experience. We offer 5.4 - 6.6 weeks
holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata) and optional membership of the NHS
Pension Scheme
Main duties of the job
Our reception team are the first point of contact for
our patients and play an important role in understanding patients needs,
resolving queries, dealing with prescription requests and either booking an
appointment with the most appropriate clinician at the practice or signposting
the patient to a service outside the practice.
You
dont need to have worked in healthcare before as long as you have excellent
people skills, a good attention to detail and you are willing and eager to
learn new skills. We will provide in-house training and support.

fully integrated into our services, providing a seamless service for patients.
