Churchside Medical Practice are a Doctors surgery based in the heart of Mansfield where we have been operating for over 20 years. We serve a patient base of over 7,200, and are a well respected practice within the town.

We have a brand new opportunity for an experienced Health Care Assistant to join us working 24 hours per week/3 days per week. Working hours are 7.30am to 4pm. Full flexibility is required to meet the demands of a busy surgery.

We are seeking someone who is efficient and experienced in the following;

* Providing direct patient care* Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperate, pulse* Collect specimens for laboratory testing* Phlebotomy* B12 injections* Wound dressings* NHS Health Checks* Pre Diabetic Reviews* Vaccinations (pneumo/flu/shingles)* ECGs* Wellness Checks* Assisting with minor operations and coil clinics (desirable but not essential)* Ear syringing (desirable but not essential)* Stocking of clinical rooms* Assisting with stock takes

As part of the clinical team you will be expected to be confident and professional when dealing with the needs of the patients. Previous experience of using SystmOne is desirable, but not essential as full training can be given.
