Job summary
SALARIED GENERAL PRACTITIONER
Number of Sessions Negotiable.
MANCHESTER/SALFORD
We are looking for a new colleague to join our long established, friendly and, supportive practice. We are a Training Practice of 10,500 patients. We are active participants in our PCN, have close contacts with our local CCG and are innovative and forward thinking.
Our practice is based in the heart of Salford in a purpose-built gateway building which also hosts children's outpatients, x-ray, ultrasound, and many other community clinics and council services.
The practice is close to great facilities including Media City and easy travel links. The locality is well served with good schools and housing for those wishing to relocate.
CQC Rating: Good with some outstanding features
Weekly educational meetings
Supportive educational environment including GPs, ANP, and practice pharmacist.
High QOF achievement
Excellent staff with pharmacists, practice nurse team, assistant practitioners, and HCA/phlebotomist.
Medical Defence subscriptions paid pro-rata

Main duties of the job
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

Our Friendly Team:
In addition to the 4 Partners, our clinical team includes: 5 salaried GPs, 1 ANP, 1 In-House Pharmacist, 1 Lead Practice Nurse, 1 Assistant Practitioner and a HCA. Our dedicated non-clinical team includes a Practice Operations Manager and a Business Development Manager, a Reception Team Leader, and an excellent admin support team
The Practice has strong links with our neighbouring practices and PCN and we anticipate these developing aspects of life in general practice further over the coming years.
We are a training practice, and everyone is very involved in ensuring the trainees gain full experience.
Computer System: We use EMIS Web clinical system along with Doman 10, GPTeamnet, Iplato, Accurx, Ardens, TEAMS and Patchs.
