Job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking GP to further enhance our diverse and hardworking team. We are recruiting to fill a total of between 5-7 sessions to meet demand from an increasing list size and to back fill time which is being created when our senior partner reduces his hours prior to retirement.

The amount of sessions are negotiable.

This would be an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated doctor who has a passion to provide excellent patient care. We would also welcome applications from newly qualified GP's.

Main duties of the job

To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the PMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

About us

Liscard group Practice is a well-established, forward thinking practice located in modern purpose-built premises. Patients benefit from having numerous other external services based on site such as x-ray, physiotherapy, podiatry, pharmacy, Emergency dental, minor injuries, Outpatient services and a walk-in centre.

We are always striving to improve the care that we offer and build a strong highly skilled team to deliver this care.

The practice provides training to 3rd year medical students and also manages 25 beds in a rehabilitation unit located in a nearby nursing home.

Through our local Primary Care Network we have access to many additional roles including; Social Prescribers, Pharmacists, First contact Physiotherapists and a specialist dermatology service.
