Job summary

Greens Norton and Weedon Medical practice are looking for a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager.

Main duties of the job

The Practice Manager will work closely with the Partners in developing and maintaining an efficient and effective GP practice. The post holder will provide leadership and management skills to enable the practice to meet its agreed aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe, and effective working environment. In particular, the role will support the Partners in areas of project management, personnel management, management of patient and clinical information and general administrative duties. At all times the post holder must act in a manner consistent with the code of conduct and appearance representing the Practice and the NHS.

About us

The post-holder will join a clinical team across two sites which includes two experienced prescribing paramedics, one ANP, one prescribing nurse and three practice nurses, 2 HCAs, 2 phlebotomists and nine GPs, as well as allied health staff including SPLWs, clinical pharmacists, a first contact physiotherapist and a podiatrist. Greens Norton and Weedon Medical practice is based rural South Northants area with countryside views, with both sites close to the A5. The practice cares for over 14,400 patients and boasts very high patient satisfaction rates, always finishing top in the county for patient satisfaction.
