Greens Norton and Weedon Medical are excited to have been approved as a COVID vaccination centre.
This will be the largest immunisation programme of our time.
We are therefore looking to recruit experienced vaccinators to help deliver the COVID vaccine from our surgery.
Work will commence December 2020.
We are looking to recruit a number of Immunisers with flexible working hours across 7 days a week.
The post would be particularly suitable for those already working in a health care setting looking for additional hours or those with previous vaccination experience who are recently retired and looking to return to the workplace to assist us during these unprecedented times.
Band 4 pay, but negotiable depending on experience.
Main duties of the job
As a pandemic immuniser you will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering a safe and effective service for the mass delivery of COVID-19 vaccine(s).
The post holder will be be responsible for administering the vaccine to patients within the Northants Rural Primary Care Network area.
You will work within in a team of staff, in a pod structure as part of the mass vaccination delivery model, at the Weedon Surgery site.

Greens Norton and Weedon Medical Practice is based in South Northamptonshire. Our rural and semi-rural communities are actively engaged with their healthcare and are rewarding to work with.
We are a successful practice that has built a reputation for delivering the highest standards of care and you will be working alongside a team of 11 GPs, 1 Clinical Pharmacist, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 1 Nurse Prescriber, 3 Practices Nurses and 3 HCAs in a fulfilling working environment.
The practice operates from modern purpose-built premises on two sites, one in Greens Norton and the other in Weedon. The job role would involve working at the Weedon site only.
