Phlebotomist 20 hours per week

We are offering a great opportunity for a new Phlebotomist to join our join our dynamic and responsive team who are committed to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare. Church Street Medical is a thriving practice set in the historic riverside town of Tewkesbury Our commitment to our patients is demonstrated by our organisation being one of the first to recruit Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists and Paramedics who support our team in the surgery. Main duties of the job

You will need: Relevant experience, and a qualification in phlebotomy WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ONLINE COURSES

You would be working alongside a part of a team but also autonomously with effective time management skills and patient appointment bookings.

Future role development for the right candidate if a requirement is needed in surgery

Good standard of education including qualification in English and Maths (GCSE grade A-C, or equivalent)

Use of clinical IT systems

Knowledge of Information Governance and Caldicott Principles

Understanding of Clinical Governance

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

Excellent interpersonal skills and time management

Experience in Phlebotomy is ESSENTIAL.

Flexible to meet the demands of the post and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
