The newly created role will be challenging, exciting and
diverse. The successful candidate will be approachable, efficient, flexible,
and patient focused. You will enjoy a broad range of day-to-day operational
exposure and work alongside the Partners, HR Manager, Operations Manager
(External Relations), and the Nurse Lead to ensure
the smooth day-to-day running of the Practice. To succeed in this role, you
will need to demonstrate experience of leading teams as well as outstanding
communication and people skills. You will have a practical experience of using
all Microsoft suite applications.
Main duties of the job
The post will have management responsibility for the day-to-day
running of teams within the Practice and will focus on high quality and
improving services. The post holder will need to engage effectively with the
teams, peer group and internal stakeholders to support in delivering key
performance indicators. This will require an inclusive, transparent, open
approach in your role, where you are happy to be accountable to others.
Prior experience of working in primary care of the healthcare
sector is essential.Beyond that, it is all about your brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to have a good relationship with people and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Leeds Student Medical Practice (LSMP) is a busy GP Practice,
close to the University of Leeds main campus, caring for students and their
families studying in the city. We have a newly created permanent role of Operations
Manager (Internal) to join our large, supportive, busy, and friendly team. We

post holder will work as part of the Management Team and with GP Partners in
the planning, management, and daily operation of a diverse and busy medical
practice. To undertake the day-to-day
management and development of the non-clinical team. To manage and contribute to Project work as
delegated by the GP Partners that will support the forward-thinking approach to
Primary care with the development of existing services & introduction of
new services. The post holder will be
required to demonstrate compassionate and inclusive leadership. The post holder
will undertake a variety of administration duties to assist the smooth running
of the Practice. The post holder will be expected to have a high
level of computer literacy and attention to detail as well as facilitating the effective communication
within the Practice and internal teams. The
post holder will provide internal business & operational support to the
preparation of key inspections for regulatory bodies and commissioners e.g., Care
Quality Commissions (CQC) and Integrated Care Board/ICB. The post holder needs to be able to prioritise and respond to the needs of the organisation in
an agile manner.
