Light Surgery Primary Care Network (PCN) are seeking a dedicated Operations Assistant to support our
expanding team and help ensure smooth daily operations.
Working Hours:
This
is a part-time role, offering flexibility within, 22.5- 30 hours per week,with
a requirement to work on Wednesdays. Were open to discussing a variety of work
patterns to suit the right candidate.

Main duties of the job
As the Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in the
smooth running of the PCN by managing a variety of operational and
administrative tasks. This includes organising meetings, preparing agendas, and
taking minutes, as well as creating and maintaining staff rotas. You will
coordinate inductions for new team members, file and maintain essential
records, and update PCN policies. Additionally, you will conduct regular
audits, generate reports, and provide ad hoc support by serving as the primary
contact for handling and resolving day-to-day operational and administrative
queries within the team.

Surgery form our Primary Care Network, which works collaboratively to ensure
high quality, equitable, and sustainable care. We work together to represent
over 57,000 patients and strive to provide outstanding support. Our work

student and young adult populations, so an interest in these populations is a

Our Primary Care Network comprises a diverse
team of 30 healthcare professionals, including clinical pharmacists,
physiotherapists, social prescribers, care coordinators, and mental health
advisers. Together, we provide a broad range of services to enhance patient
access and capacity across the two practices making up our network.

As the PCN Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the operational and administrative functions of the Primary Care Network, working across Leeds Student Medical Practice and The Light Surgery. You will assist with data management, running reports using clinical systems such as EMIS and SystmOne, and presenting findings to the board. Your role will also involve supporting HR tasks, such as maintaining staff records, managing training and development, and assisting with staff recruitment and inductions. This is an office-based role requiring on-site work at both Leeds practices, and the ideal candidate will be highly organised, with strong IT skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
