Salaried GP maternity cover

(6 months ideally 6 sessions/week)

Fixed Rate (inclusive of pension contributions) or fixed term contract

You must be able to work Tuesday, Thursday and ideally Friday.

Candidates will embrace the evolving MDT approach and be able to work effective with an array of different health care professionals. You will need to show compassion and empathy towards our specific patient group.

Main duties of the job

Candidates will be responsible for providing a high level of medical care to the practice population. As a locum you will be required to:

Conduct normal surgeries which comprise of 14 patients.

Undertake all self-generated administration including filing of own bloods and completion of patient tasks.

Ideally undertake some on-call duty responsibilities.

Leeds Student Medical Practice (LSMP) is a busy GP Surgery, close to the University of Leeds, caring for students and their families. We have an opening to cover maternity leave, which can be via a sessional rate or fixed term contract. We are a large, evolving practice with a unique student demographic.
