Job Role Summary: Salaried General Practitioner (GP)
As a Salaried GP, you will provide high-quality primary care services to patients within the practice. Your role will involve conducting consultations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and managing chronic conditions. You will be responsible for making referrals to specialists when necessary and ensuring continuity of care for your patients.
In addition to clinical duties, you will participate in practice meetings and contribute to the development of practice protocols. You will also engage in continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain and enhance your medical knowledge and skills.
The role may include specific responsibilities such as teaching medical students or GP trainees, and you may be involved in practice development initiatives. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care and uphold the values and standards of the practice.

- Clinical Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient consultations, including history taking, examination, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referral as appropriate.
- Manage chronic disease registers and provide ongoing care for patients with long-term conditions.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and other clinical tasks as required.
- Patient Care:
- Ensure continuity of care by maintaining comprehensive and accurate patient records.
- Provide patient education and counselling on health promotion and disease prevention.
