GP partner or salaried

Job summary

We are looking for a Salaried GP with the possible option of becoming a Partner, if this is you why not come and join our great team at Alexandra & Crestview Surgeries in Lowestoft, situated right near the sea, the most Easterly point of the country, good train service to Norwich & London.

We are a Teaching & Research Practice and take a Varity of students, Registrars, UEA students, Paramedics and Nursing too. We work over two sights with 15300 patients. We have a large admin team to support the clinicians.

Main duties of the job

A typical day would be.

1. Face to face or telephone appointments
2. Issuing sick certificate
3. Dedicated admin time
4. Home visits - as needed (one or two)
5. Pathology results
6. Signing off prescriptions
7. Medical report
8. Letters
9. Referrals
10. Dealing with Queries
11. Actively helping to achieve full QoF points
12. Liaising with other staff members
13. Coffee/tea break & lunch break allocated time

About us

We are a great team who support and help each other, our team consists of 3 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 1 Practice Manager, 1 Assistant Practice Manager, 2 Department Managers, 4 NP/ACP, 2 Clinical pharmacists, 3 Pharmacy Technicians, 5 Practice Nurses, 6 Healthcare Assistants. Our PCN staff are, Health & Wellbeing coaches, Care Coordinators, Nurse Associate, Pharmacists and Pharmacy technicians. Also linked and working in the surgery are, Physiotherapist, Social Prescribers, Mental Health Workers.
