Brinsworth and Whiston Medical Centre are looking to recruit a permanent Salaried GP to join our friendly and forward-thinking team for 4 - 6 sessions a week.

Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic General Practitioner to join our supportive and friendly team on permanent basis. This role is for 4-6 sessions per week, starting September 2025.

  • Regular 10 minute pre booked GP Appointments,
  • Same Day appointments
  • Carry out home visits
  • Review pathology results
  • Participate in clinical audits Support the education and supervision of medical students
  • Engage in clinical meetings
  • Documents
  • Participate in the practices on-call and triage weekly - rota currently is Friday TBC
  • Other GP duties

To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.

Furthermore, the post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
