Practice Nurse

Job summary

We are a friendly Practice on the beautiful Isle of Portland, in Dorset looking for an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our team. Thursday and Friday (16 hours per week). We are an established training practice comprising of two sites on the island. We are providing medical services to a list of 12500 patients across the two sites,

• 2 partners
• 7 Salaried GPs
• 1 GP Trainee
• 5 ANPs (1 of which is a partner)
• 5 Practice nurses
• 3 HCAs
• 2 Phlebotomists
• Working collaboratively with PCN pharmacy team, MSK practitioner, social prescribers and care co-ordinators
• We have a strong Administration, Reception and Management team.

Essential Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with NMC pin
• Evidence of CPD
• Experience not essential but preferred

Salary depending on experience

Main duties of the job

Daily duties will include all aspect of Practice Nurse work including working within our leg club as and when needed. Long term condition experience desired.
