Job summary

Are you looking for a rewarding role in a bustling NHS GP Practice? We are a friendly and busy practice located in Daybrook, Nottingham, and we're excited to expand our reception team with two new positions available: one for 18 hours and another for 16 hours per week. Our practice operates Monday to Friday, with various shifts between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm. We offer flexible hours that can be discussed and negotiated to suit your and the practice needs.

Main Duties of the Job:

  • Communication & Multi-tasking: Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task are essential. You'll need to remain calm under pressure and have good keyboard skills. While knowledge of SystmOne is beneficial, it's not essential as we provide comprehensive training.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside a team of enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary, and friendly staff. We value initiative, drive, and strong interpersonal, admin, and IT skills.
  • Patient-Facing & Administrative Tasks: You'll handle a variety of tasks, so excellent organisational skills and time management are critical. A caring and empathetic character is essential to succeed in this role.
  • Flexibility: We require flexibility to cover for colleagues during holidays and sickness absences, with occasional evening and weekend work.
