Job summary
We are seeking a full or part time team member to join our Dispensary team at our Witley Surgery site
The post holder will deal with our patients in the practice at the dispensary reception and also support our qualified dispensers in delivering a high quality dispensary service to our patients
The post holder will also be encouraged to start our work based training programme towards a NVQ Level 2 dispensary assistant qualification. This will be supported by our team in the practice, leading to qualified dispenser status.
Main duties of the job
Duties include serving patients collecting medications that have been dispensed by a qualified dispenser, receiving payments for prescription charges where appropriate, processing medication requests from patients, assisting with patient medication queries, dealing with dispensary stock and assisting the other dispensary team members as needed.
As detailed above. the post holder will also be supported to undertake a programme of training to achieve qualified dispenser status

The Witley and Milford Medical Partnership provides NHS GP and Primary Care services to a population of over 11,000 patients in Witley, Milford and the surrounding areas.
We have a dispensary at our Witley Surgery site where this post is located.
We have a team of three dispenser staff who will be supported by this new post
