Job summary

As the Finance Assistant you will work with the finance team to provide support with the organisation’s day to day finance tasks. This will include a variety of administrative jobs, including invoice processing, communicating with external stakeholders and ensuring income received is recorded promptly.

Part time hours - 20 per week. 

Main duties of the job

Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintain purchase ledger within Xero, ensuring all supplier invoices are processed

Maintain sales ledger within Xero, providing support where needed

Manage the booking of training courses for staff across the organisation

Liaise with suppliers, dealing with various accounts queries that may arise

Process NHS invoices via Tradeshift

Update a supplier spreadsheet, ensuring all information is correct

Record income statements on Xero

Provide administrative support

Skills:

Excellent IT skills; including MS Excel, Outlook and Word

Good interpersonal skills and willingness to adapt

Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Flexible and adaptable

About us

Hastings & Rother Healthcare is a newly formed organisation which consists of three GP practices within Hastings and St Leonards. We are an organisation that is rapidly expanding and we currently covering the largest patient population in Hastings & St Leonards.

We have a highly skilled clinical team working across the sites, which include; experienced GPs, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedic Practitioners, a Mental Health Nurse and Physiotherapists.
