Job summary
Permanent, part-time x 2 - Role 1: 7.15 am to 5.30 pm Wednesdays and 8 am to 6 pm Thursdays, Role 2: 8 am to 6 pm Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. There is an additional Tuesday morning 8 am to 1 pm that could be included in either Role 1 or Role 2.
Pay rate is increased after a successful probation period, in line with the real Living Wage.
Main duties of the job
To be part of a team responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception and administrative duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients and visitors, patient registration, booking appointments, processing of information (electronic and hard copy), summarising of medical notes and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
Previous experience working in a GP practice preferred, but full training will be given.
