Job summary

Phlebotomy of adult patients, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings 08:30 to 12:30, and often Saturday overtime clinics.

Also health checks, ECGs, diabetic checks and flu vaccines depending on experience, plus training available.

Main duties of the job

Phlebotomy of patients aged 14 or over.

Health checks involving checking lifestyle including smoking, alcohol, exercise and diet. Measuring blood pressure , weight, height and BMI and cardiovascular disease risk. Plus with more experience ECGs, 24 hr ABPMs, diabetic checks.
