About us

Lostock Hall Medical Centre is located to the south of Preston city centre. We have a growing patient list of 6,000 patients. We host a range of specialist clinics including minor surgery, diabetic eye screening, first contact physio, AAA screening and ENT. We work closely with three local care homes.

The Lead GP is a specialist in women's health and the practice and its staff provide a wide range of additional services for its female patients.

It is an exciting time to join us in our much improved premises (since 2019) in Brownedge Road, Lostock Hall and when our patient list, staff team and range of services are expanding. The historic building is a lovely place to work, with spacious rooms and a beautiful garden setting.

We think of ourselves as a friendly organisation that cares for its staff. We are ambitious, growing and developing, but not so large that relationships with staff become impersonal. We share a pride in the building and its history, the local community, a passion for developing staff and patients through wellbeing as well as medicine and a focus on enjoying life, culture, nature and our families.

The ANP and existing part-time PN are very experienced and keen to share their skills.
