Job summary
We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our friendly practice on a fixed term basis. You will work as part of the Kings Medical team- made up of two GP partners, Two Practice Nurses, Two Health Care Assistants and Admin Staff. We are a medical training practice, you will also work alongside Registrars, FY2 Doctors and medical students.
Main duties of the job
Your Main role as a Phlebotomist will be to provide a patient friendly service
Phlebotomist will be expected to provide a helpful and professional service to patients and healthcare staff.
We are looking for individuals with the skill and flexibility to support our services within Phlebotomy.
The individual will be responsible for ensuring that the blood specimens are taken in a manner that does not cause undue anxiety to the patient and that laboratories are provided with timely, high quality blood specimens taken in tubes that are appropriate for the tests requested.
Phlebotomy Experience is essential
