This is a great opportunity for a committed, enthusiastic
salaried GP to join our friendly, hardworking team.
Parliament Hill Medical Centre is a well-established
training practice with a strongly held commitment to education and staff
development. We invite applications from GP trainers and would also be keen to
have a retainer GP join the team.
We offer a range of additional clinical services including
minor surgery, LARC clinics, anticoagulation and shared care drug clinics. We
work as part of, and in collaboration with, the Kentish Town Central PCN and
have a number of allied staff.
We support and encourage development in other areas of
interest.
We are offering 4 clinical sessions per week with
flexibility for the right candidate.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will carry out all the duties reasonably expected of an NHS general practitioner using the standards expected by the GMC and RCGP in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines.
We would like to have an enthusiastic and capable clinician who loves the general practice and wants to deliver high-quality primary care.

A busy training practice, based in London with friendly team of GPs, GP Registrars, Nurses, Nurse Associates, Clinical pharmacists, Social prescriber, Physician Associates, Paramedics, counselors, Healthcare Assistant, and an /Reception and Admin team. we are medium size GP practice with 8000 list size.

In accordance with the Practice rota, be available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, patient queries, home visit, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, paperwork, reports, and correspondence in a timely fashion.
Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation.
Prescribe in accordance with the Practice of prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate
Ensure compliance with all relevant local and national guidelines and legislation
Adhere to safeguarding requirements and deal appropriately with complaints, incidents, and alerts using the practice systems and policies
Adhere to all practice clinical governance policies
Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
Collect data for audit purposes and for compliance with QOF requirements
Attendance at educational and clinical team meetings.
Meet CPD requirements and keep personal, mandatory and/or organisational training up to date, including any training programme implemented by the Practice as part of this employment
Assess own performance and take accountability for own actions, either directly or under supervision.
Support the practice in achieving contractual targets
