Job summary
Healthcare Assistants are a vital and very valued part of The Hart Surgery clinical team, working closely with nurses and doctors to provide first class patient care.
Due to a retirement we are looking for an experienced healthcare assistant/phlebotomist to work approximately 2 days (or 4 half days a week)
Main duties of the job
Experience of phlebotomy is essential as you need to be able to get up and running with that straight away.
Everything else we can provide training for. This includes taking measurements such as BP, oximetry weight, using equipment such as 24 hr blood pressure monitors, ECG, audiograms and giving health checks and foot checks to our patients with diabetes.
Our healthcare assistants are also responsible for the management of samples, clinical waste and restocking our GP rooms.
