Job summary

Are you a manager in healthcare looking for an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate? Cleveland Surgery is seeking a dedicated and driven Practice Manager to join our team in Gainsborough. If you have a strong background in practice management or experience in a healthcare or PCN setting, we would love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Cleveland Surgery, ensuring smooth, efficient service delivery.
  • Work closely with clinicians, administrative staff, and the wider healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and appraisals, fostering a positive and supportive working environment.
  • Implement practice policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to NHS guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Manage patient feedback, and complaints, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Handle financial management, including budgets, payroll, and monitoring performance against financial targets.
  • Coordinate staff rotas, and clinic schedules, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Lead on CQC compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain effective communication with external stakeholders, including the local PCN and healthcare bodies.
  • Drive innovation and improvement projects within the practice.
