Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Cleveland Surgery, ensuring smooth, efficient service delivery.
- Work closely with clinicians, administrative staff, and the wider healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and appraisals, fostering a positive and supportive working environment.
- Implement practice policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to NHS guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Manage patient feedback, and complaints, and ensure timely resolution.
- Handle financial management, including budgets, payroll, and monitoring performance against financial targets.
- Coordinate staff rotas, and clinic schedules, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Lead on CQC compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication with external stakeholders, including the local PCN and healthcare bodies.
- Drive innovation and improvement projects within the practice.
