Job summary

We are seeking to recruit an experienced administrator to join our friendly team who is familiar with the Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF) and the relevant recall processes. You will need to demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills, good IT skills, understand the importance of effective time management, take pride in your work with good attention to details and be a conscientious team player. This role if for 28 hours a week.

Main duties of the job

  • To fully understand the QOF process in order to monitor progress and be the practice expert
  • To complete monthly recall for all QOF registers
  • To regularly meet with clinicians and practice manager in order to advise on QOF progress
  • To assist/train clinicians and staff with QOF queries
  • To oversee and assist with read coding of practice documents
  • Summarise patients note as needed

Essential

  • GCSE grade A to C English and Maths
  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy

Experience

Essential

  • Computer literate, use of Microsoft packages
  • Experience in healthcare setting

Desirable

  • Previous QOF related experience
  • Experience in GP call and recall processes
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Clinical terminology experience
  • Knowledge of Ardens searches/recalls

Skills & Knowledge

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to use on judgement and common sense
  • Good time management and organisational skills

Desirable

  • Familiar with EMIS software and understanding of read coding and population manager
